Best wedding reception entrance ever!

When Charlene and Nathan said they wanted to do something different to enter their wedding reception, I never in a million years dreamt that they would be willing to make a video as fun as this.

We sat down had a discussion about what exactly they wanted and what they were willing to do and the stage was set! Cabra Catle was asked and a date organised to shoot their enterance film.

I can honestly say that I have never had as much fun in my life, the couple were great to work with and the film was kept top seceret until the big day.

At the wedding the live camera was setup as a decoy to justify the reason for the big screen and when the banqueting manager announced the bride and groom into the room and nothing happened the live camera suddenly switched to their film which was queued to start to play at that very moment.

With the guests all speechless at what they had just seen the camera then switched back to the live feed as the happy couple entered the room.

What an experience!

Also well worth checking out is the young bridesmaid, Lucy Pitts O'Connor who originally adapted Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah for the wedding of Mary and John on 23rd July 2010. This version inspired Fr Ray that much that he asked for a copy of the lyrics.
